The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has once again spoken publicly about a personal vision concerning his own death.

Addressing the congregation during the fourth day of RCCG’s ongoing International Convention themed “The Overcomers,” Pastor Adeboye reiterated that when his time comes, it will be without illness or struggle. He stated that he would pass away on a Sunday, after attending service and eating his favorite meal—pounded yam.

This is not the first time the prominent clergyman has shared this vision. According to him, the same message was revealed and made public two years ago. He restated it to emphasize the belief that death does not always follow prolonged sickness, especially for those who, in his words, “are in Christ.”

“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Adeboye said.

The pastor’s remarks come in the context of broader teachings during the convention, where themes of overcoming fear, mortality, and spiritual readiness were addressed.
